Roadtrip to Colorado
We spent 2 weeks on a roadtrip to Colorado...we really needed one more week. The routing Tahoe, Salt Lake City, Telluride, Crusted Butte, Aspen, Park City, Tahoe, and back to Mill Valley. We had 2 long days(8 hours) in the truck both directions, with stops it was more like 10 hours.
The hiking was fabulous and everyday we hiked with the dogs, even on the long travel days we would get a hike in before we hit the road. The wildflowers were in full bloom and the scenery was breathtaking. Our dogs are "super fit" right now. We hit the trails every morning for a 2-4 hour hike and in the evening we would always find a park for a little chuckit action.
All of these towns are pet friendly, so we had no problems finding great places to stay. So much fun...we want to go back in September to see the fall foliage.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures!
ReplyDeleteLove the pics! I need to get my Vizsla out for some hiking. Maybe that would actually wear him out.
